There are many tenses in English Grammar separate by each situation. Some tenses are commonly used and easy to understand while some tenses are difficult but not commonly used. Unlike Present Perfect Tense, it is one of the most popular tense to be used in English Grammar and yet one of the most complicate tense as well. It is used to explain the situation that happen since the past until present so the situation which we can use present perfect tense can be happening all the time.

The simplest way to understand present perfect tense is to remember the keyword in the sentence that usually use with the present perfect tense. Example of keywords are since and for + time etc. The verb for present perfect tense is has / have + V3 so you have to remember the form of V3 as well.

The most important thing to understand tense and other English Grammar is that you have to read and learn a lot to get yourself familiar with it because it is extremely difficult to remember everything. If you understand it, you will be able to get yourself into it more quickly and be able to answer all difficult questions no matter which way it came, especially the present perfect tense question.
